Recording of Tony's record breaking attempt
The live feed showing Tony going about daily life at the Studio Bar where he is based for the duration comes from only two cameras, being manually switched between the two, a more complete record is actually being kept for posterity and validation purposes. There are, altogether, six CCTV cameras located in and around the Studio bar, which are running 24 hours a day and there is a hard disk recording being made from all of them. Logistics made it impossible to have live feed from them all, and besides, there were not enough volunteers to constantly switch the live feed so Tony was visible at all times. The live feed was intended as a way in which interested people from around the world could feel part of the event, not as complete proof of his incredible eneavour. Also, Tony did not want it to feel like some "Big Brother" type reality tv show, as he felt this would detract from the serious side of his project - namely the research which he has now published in his book, 'Left in the Dark'
